The Devon Rex cats is a breed with a special characteristic, his hair is short, soft and curly. They differentiates from other Rex breeds for small quantity of guard’s hair that has, for his small head, large ears and a few big oval eyes. The peculiarity of his mantle owes to the mutation of the gene of the smooth hair, the above mentioned gene is recessive.

The first Devon Rex comes from Devon (United Kingdom).

His personality is that of a cat happy, playful and very intelligent. They need human contact, therefore always they are very tied to his owner.
